Assistant Operations Manager
Duties: All those listed under Operations Assistant below, plus:
- Oversee department staff: direct oversight, training, evaluations, interviewing, develop interview questions,
- Develop procedures for new playback system: learn software, develop procedures, teach traffic staff, schedule television channels for 24/7 operation,
- Introduce general public to our facility and get them started in production,
- Teach all staff new software system that tracks all members, equipment, reservations, playbacks, etc., create manuals for system,
- Coordinate political forums: invite candidates, schedule productions & playbacks, create questions, interview candidates,
- Coordinate series process: evaluate applicants, run meeting, data entry of all reservations and playbacks,

- Document/procedure creation: redesign Rules & Procedures, develop series application process and documents, develop forms for producer use,
- Newsletter: coordinate, write, & edit monthly newsletter, redesign newsletter format,
- Purchasing: $25,000 per year, items ranging from $0.50 to $1000, develop budgets, coordinate item returns & rewards,

- Community Bulletin Board: design new computer screens for event listings, edit news releases from hundreds of area nonprofits to appropriate length, coordinate incoming news releases,
- Marketing/PR: write news releases, assist media list development, perform introductory seminar for residents interested in public access,
- Reporting: CPI reports on facility and cablecast hours, CBB reports, assist with annual report,
- Video work: cameraman, floor director, CG operator, editor (cuts only).
